Agricultural Policy Forum

The 26th Agricultural Policy Forum (APF), titled “Agricultural Policy Coherence in South-East Europe: EU Integration Dynamics, Institutional Reforms and Climate Adaptation,” was held on 3-4 June 2026 in Prishtina. Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development and the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-East Europe, the Forum brought together more than 110 representatives from 14 countries across Europe.

The discussions focused on EU integration and the Common Agricultural Policy, climate change adaptation, biodiversity and forestry, integrated landscape fire management, generational renewal in agriculture, AKIS development, food security preparedness, sustainable viticulture, and regional policy cooperation under the Berlin Process.

The Forum provided an important platform for policy dialogue, knowledge exchange, and regional cooperation, reaffirming the shared commitment of participating institutions to advancing sustainable and resilient agriculture and rural development across South-East Europe.

The Forum concluded with the adoption of the Prishtina Agenda 2026, which sets out key policy recommendations and priorities for agriculture, forestry, and rural development in South-East Europe.
