The 12th Purchasing Initiative Western Balkans under the Berlin Process took place on 19–20 May 2026 in IHK Dortmund. Around 140 participants and 75 selected suppliers engaged in approximately 200 B2B meetings, creating new business opportunities and strengthening regional supply chains. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and implemented together with GTAI, BME, the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), and other partners, the initiative highlighted the growing nearshoring potential of the Western Balkans and supported the Berlin Process objective of strengthening regional economic cooperation.
